Daydream Rainbows

(Wax Equestrian vs Max Bygraves)

OLD, OLD , OOLLLLLD SKOOL HIP HOP !

Very different from the normal offerings here

This started out as a bit of a joke really. I wanted to make a track for my Dad's 60th birthday. He'd been buying old Max Bygraves' albums from car-boot sales and after ripping the p155 out of him for it, I went and did the same thing to see what i could find to remix for him. Armed with 3 "singalongamax" albums for the price of £1.00 i started the arduous task of listening to them to see what was there.

After working round a few ideas on the decks, i realised the potential of this well known track with a hip hop beat behind it....throw in a bit of a different track for the break and so this remix was born.

I honestly never thought i would actually enjoy remixing Max Bygraves' tunes so much

listen without prejudice....i think you might be surprised.

Butterfly Pete has played this off CD at the end of a Planet Angel club night and it received an encore.............
